Shipping & Order Policy
Thank you for shopping with us! Please review our shipping policy below for details on how we process and deliver orders both locally and internationally.
1. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. Please always ensure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout. We are not responsible for orders sent to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
2. Domestic Shipping (South Africa)
We offer reliable courier services for all orders within South Africa.
- Standard Shipping:
- Cost: A flat rate of R100 applies to all orders.
- Delivery Time: Typically arrives within 3-5 business days after dispatch.
3. International Shipping
We are excited for the first time to offer international shipping to our customers!
- Shipping Carrier: We use trusted international couriers like DHL or FedEx to ensure your order arrives safely.
- Cost: International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.
- Delivery Time: Estimated delivery is typically between 7-21 business days, depending on the destination country and its customs processing times
- Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Lulu's is not responsible for these charges if they are applied; they are your responsibility as the customer. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information on potential charges.
4. Back-Orders & Out of Stock Items
We allow customers to purchase items that are currently out of stock but are scheduled for a restock. This is referred to as a "back-order."
- Identification: Products available for back-order will be clearly marked on the product page with a notification indicating the estimated shipping time.
- Fulfilment Time: If you purchase a back-ordered item, please be aware that shipping will take approximately 4 weeks from the date of your order. This allows us time to produce the item and prepare it for dispatch.
- Split Shipments: If your order contains both in-stock and back-ordered items, we will ship all items together at our back-order time frame.
- Communication: We will keep you updated on the status of your back-ordered items and notify you as soon as they have been dispatched.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
